Milling Calculator APK Description
This free app estimates the amount of work involved when removing asphalt pavements with cold milling machines. The app calculates the volume and weight of the reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP), proposes a suitable machine for the project and estimates how long it can be expected to take.
The user enters the following project data: milling area, milling depth, location (in town, out of town) and the number of part-areas.
After choosing a machine, the user can let the app calculate how long a different machine model would take for the same job. A quotation for the implementation of the project can then be requested for the selected machine from the milling contractor GMS Fahrbahnsanierungen.
GMS Fahrbahnsanierungen also supplies a catalogue of machines with detailed descriptions of the cold milling machines and special equipment.
Note that the calculated values are estimates and may diverge from the actual values.
This app only takes account of the removal of medium-hard asphalt pavement using standard milling drums. It cannot be used to assess fine milling jobs or special work, such as milling slots or grooves or the removal of other materials.
