About Samsung Health For PC

Download S Health for PC free at BrowserCam. Learn to download and then Install S Health on PC (Windows) which is developed by Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. Have you ever wondered how can one download S Health for PC? Don't worry, we have fairly simple instructions at the end of this post.

S Health is a health, fitness and wellness app designed by Samsung for your Android phones. S Health app gives you a comprehensive insight into your overall health by tracking certain parameters. Although the app is built for Samsung's Galaxy series of phones, you could also use this app on any Android phone. Some features might not work on non-Samsung phones. Let's go through the features of the app.

Heart Rate Monitor

S Health provides a simple way to record your heart rate. There's a dedicated heart rate sensor at the back of the phone. You need to place your finger on it, and S Health will record your heart rate in a few seconds. The readings are quite accurate. So, it is recommended to take an average of multiple readings throughout the day.

S Health Coach

S Health Coach suggests exercise regimes and fitness goals based on the data you provide: your height and weight, the number of hours you sleep etc. The suggestions are not that great since they seem to be too generic to be of any use.

Calorie Counting

S Health has a large database of food items, and you can easily keep track of how many calories you are consuming each day. It prompts you to enter your food intakes multiple times a day. If you religiously enter this information, S Health can approximately show the amount of calorie intake. This becomes quite useful when you are trying to reduce weight.

Step Counter and Exercise Tracking

S Health has an inbuilt pedometer, which keeps recording the number of steps you take in a day. It estimates the distance you travel and also the calories you burn for the whole day. However, the recording is manual, unlike some other pedometer apps which keep running in the background.

S Health offers exercise tracking for activities like running, walking, cycling and hiking. It uses your GPS to calculate the distance traveled. You can take pictures on the way while you are running or hiking, which shows up later; a nice feature.

Add-on Apps and External Attachments

You can integrate several other apps like Sleep Tracker or apps that help you with your workout programs. Once you download and install them on your phone, S Health automatically detects them and pulls in data to your dashboard. There are a number of external attachments that work seamlessly with S Health. Weighing scales, other heart rate monitors can connect to S Health and sync their data to your phone.

Verdict

S Health is one of the most advanced apps for fitness and health. If you have a Galaxy S5, and a Samsung Gear fit watch, S Health is the best app to monitor your health and fitness. Although some features also work on other Android phones, the experience and features are very limited. It's a must have app for all the Samsung phones. Most of the Samsung phones have this app pre-installed.
